Since 2010, BNR Co., Ltd. has been certified as a G-PASS company (Promising Export Company) for its continuous export of laparoscopic medical devices to Europe. We are also a research-driven company focusing on the development of technology-convergent smart healthcare products, with our main product being personal wearable fall airbags. Founded in 2003, we obtained CE certification for our bladeless trocar and established a complete set of laparoscopic surgical instruments. Since then, we have conducted numerous innovative research projects, including healthcare products, and have received multiple awards: the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award (2013), World-Class Product Recognition by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (2014), Deputy Minister of Food and Drug Safety Award (2015), Ministry of Health and Welfare Commendation (2016), NICE Technology Evaluation Excellent Company Recognition (2017), and Korea Excellent Patent Award (2022). These awards have helped us establish ourselves as a globally recognized, small but strong enterprise. Our next-generation product, the personal wearable fall airbag, is equipped with electronic sensors that detect falls and deploy the airbag within 0.2 seconds, helping prevent falls—a critical social issue in a super-aging society. Studies show that approximately 33% of adults over 65 experience falls, and 18% of them suffer recurrent falls, creating a significant medical cost burden. This product is well-aligned with the growing aging market and has potential applications in sports, construction, and other fields. In particular, the electronic belt technology can be adapted for a wide range of future uses. Through the development of professional devices with integrated electronic systems, BNR is committed to fostering a safe, healthy, and independent lifestyle for seniors, contributing to the creation of a modern and advanced senior living culture.
