This medical carbon dioxide, the first in Korea to receive GMP certification, expands body cavities during minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopy and endoscopic procedures, securing visibility and providing surgical space. It is also used as a medical laser for skin lesion removal and cosmetic procedures. It is also used as a contrast agent in the treatment of vascular diseases, making it suitable for patients with impaired renal function who are adversely affected by iodine contrast agents. It is also used in respiratory therapy, mixed with oxygen at low concentrations, to stimulate breathing. Medical dry ice is also used in cryotherapy and can serve as a backup refrigeration system in emergency situations such as power outages. It is supplied in high-pressure gas cylinders in capacities ranging from 20L to 40L, and can be delivered in liquefied form to LGCs (Liquid Gas Container) or installed liquid tanks via tanker trucks.
