This implantable device reduces workload on the failing ventricle, improving hemodynamics and organ perfusion during critical care or as a bridge to recovery or transplantation.

A Class III interventional medical device for acute and critical cardiovascular disease. The device is inserted via the femoral artery, with the pump inlet placed in the left ventricle and outlet in the aorta, connected by an artificial blood vessel. During operation, it pumps blood from the left ventricle into the aorta, reducing left ventricular load and improving perfusion to vital organs. It is applicable to acute myocardial infarction with cardiogenic shock, intra-operative circulatory support for high-risk PCI procedures, acute decompensation of end-stage heart failure, and cardiac arrest from severe trauma.
