Ultragel is an interesting story... In 1996, it occurred to me that our family business (Medcom), which deals with medical equipment, should not be supplied with ultrasound gels from abroad, but from a domestic company, be it a company I founded. After the establishment of the company, our adventurous journey has started and is still going fast on the track that I could not have dreamed otherwise. Our first year was the year of experimentation, when together with my chemist professor we tried to develop the excellent quality, better than anything used before. This experience is still going on today, with new ideas and small improvements every day to keep us moving forward, like a feather blown by the wind. This spring has exceeded all my expectations, having grown up after many years of difficulties, we have now broken through our frames and entered 52 countries, expanded our product range, built a strong trading base in the local market with nearly 8000 medical equipment products, and the story goes on.... In detail The basic product range anno consisted of ultrasound and ECG gels. Two products, in 3 types of packaging. It is still mainly the uniquely marked products that make up the majority of our production (contract manufacturing / OEM), but Ultragel as a brand is gaining more and more importance in the international market. This small company has the peculiarity that, unlike other companies, it first acquired its reputation and know-how in international markets, and the socialization through the strict rules in these markets has implemented its knowledge and strengthened its position in the local market. We have gained experience in setting up businesses in Egypt and Cambodia, and later established and managed businesses. We have partners from Saudi Arabia to the European Union to Japan, with many personal and human relationships behind our backs, where the international exhibitions provide a great platform for us to meet friends and business partners. We have participated in exhibitions in Russia, Singapore, Brazil, USA, UAE and most frequently in Germany - with independent presence. Our production capacity is sufficient. Sufficient enough to have the 3rd largest capacity in the world, in a market where, in addition to covering the local market just as well, our local sales account for only 5% of total sales, while the rest is export! In addition to production, we want to convince the local medical equipment market that we represent a wide range of medical tools and equipment in addition to ultrasound gels, including through our own representatives and business partners. It is not my goal to list the portfolio of all 8000 products we have, but let me mention some tools and equipment we have obtained through some of the successful projects we have realized: Ventilators Anesthesia machines Intensive monitors Cardiac ultrasound equipment hospital furniture equipment for physical therapy rehabilitation equipment emergency equipment laboratory equipment blood collection systems etc Our partners are mainly from the local health sector: hospitals, clinics, general practitioners, private clinics and private practices. Thanks to our cosmetic product range, we are also becoming more and more popular in the local beauty sector, as a manufacturer we can offer a wide range of products at competitive prices. The local ambulance or the armed forces are also worth mentioning, but we have also cooperated in hospital projects with our distributors (Tiop, Keop, Támop, etc.). There are almost 30 people working at Ultragel, 15 of them are working in our 2000 m 2 factory in Csepel, while the rest of the team is taking care of the smooth communication and sales from our back office in downtown Budapest. Certifications? There must be few in the world that we do not have yet, but should we miss some, we are always ready to take the necessary steps to achieve what is required, be it ISO, CE, Reach, etc. Important! The products that my Ultragel produces have a medical classification and not a cosmetic one!
