BioSino Bio－Technology & Science Inc. is a high-tech enterprise based on protein industry. Founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1988,BioSino mainly engages in R&D, production and sales of in vitro diagnostic products. BioSino has been listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2006. Its product line-up covers a variety of fields in the IVD industry, including clinical chemistry, immunological diagnostic products, molecular diagnostic products, hematology diagnostic products, medical clinical nutrition diagnostic products and related analytical instruments and raw materials. BioSino is certified with ISO9001 and ISO13485, and the manufacture is built according to GMP standards. Up to now, more than 120 kinds of registered products have been successfully developed, covering immunology test kits (ELlSA/CLlA), rapid test (POCT), and clinical chemistry analyzers for the diagnosis of liver function, lipids, renal function, myocardial, special proteins, trace elements, and sugar metabolism. In 2011, BioSino Bio-Technology & Science Inc. signed an incorporation agreement with Abbott, the global health care company, allowing Abbott to sell and distribute BioSino clinical chemistry reagents in China. The agreement enables Abbott to provide a more comprehensive clinical chemistry assay menu to laboratory customers. Over 500 distributors and retailers form a sales network nationwide covering 75% of the users in the industry. In addition, BioSino has now registered the clinical chemistry reagents in CMDCAS of Canada. The products are now exported to more than forty countries in Asia, Africa, and East European countries.
