JJW company, manufacturer of the DEOMED ® branded medical socks, was founded in 1989 by quality and reliability specialists from the Polish Academy of Sciences. Therefore the quality and innovation were always at the heart of the company s culture and deeply embedded in its products. Biological and mechanical functionality of socks were developed on the basis of multidisciplinary, medical and textile, research results, tested and accepted by patients and medical organizations. All socks manufactured in JJW have unique hygienic features. Owing to their antibacterial and antifungal properties, they also help remove unpleasant odour. These effects are achieved through the use of a special Sanitized™ finish under the license of the Swiss company Sanitized AG or thanks to Silver ions or Zink oxide contained in the yarn. The DEOMED ® socks have medical certifications, CE mark as medical devices, and received many medical trade awards. JJW is the undisputed leader in this market segment in Poland and its products have already gained great recognition in many foreign markets. This year we started a new development project “SILVER LINE” which will be implemented in March 2026. Within this project all sock models will have doubled antimicrobial properties through the use of a Sanitized™ finish combined with silver ions embedded in the polyamide which forms the sock's frame. Because the Prolen® Siltex yarn (polypropylene with silver) currently used is harder than polyamide, this polyamide solution is more skin-friendly and technologically superior. We already have positive results from laboratory antimicrobial tests on our new solution. There will also be new labels for DEOMED ® sock models belonging to SILVER LINE . These labels will feature the striking SILVER LINE inscription on a silver background, indicating that the model belongs to this new product line. Our main goal of participating in MEDICA 2025 is to acquire distributors interested in purchasing DEOMED ® medical socks. We are also open to challenges that will increase the potential and value of our company, including deeper cooperation, joint ventures or capital investments in JJW.
