Aktif Elektroteknik A.Ş. , founded in 1981 in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, began its journey as a pioneering company specializing in the production of Compact Substations. Over the years, the company expanded its expertise to include Medium Voltage Switchgears in 1988 and Mobile Substations in 2004, laying a strong foundation for future growth and innovation. In 1996, after 15 successful years, Aktif Engineering company was established in Istanbul to focus on measurement, protection, and power quality solutions. It quickly became leading the market in these specialized fields, delivering cutting-edge solutions that set new industry standards. The journey of innovation continued with the establishment of Aktif Power Quality Company in 2008, a company dedicated to providing advanced engineering services focused on power quality solutions. This marked yet another milestone in our mission to offer comprehensive electrical solutions. In 2009, we expanded our product portfolio further with the establishment of Aktif Power Elements Company in Sakarya. This facility focused on manufacturing braking resistors, starting resistors, and panel heaters. Over time, our production capabilities evolved to include load banks, neutral grounding resistors, transportation resistors, low-voltage capacitor banks, and LV panels, making us a significant player in the power sector. In 2022, after acquiring all international shares of Aktif Elektroteknik , these four Aktif companies were united under the Aktif Elektroteknik name. This merger created a powerful and comprehensive entity that continues to invest in Turkey’s industry and economy, producing high-quality solutions that meet global and future demands. Today, Aktif Elektroteknik operates in multiple well organised facilities: a 6,000 m² closed area in Ankara for manufacturing medium voltage (MV) solutions, a 6,000 m² facility in Sakarya for low voltage (LV) solutions, and a 2,200 m² headquarters along with a 600 m² R&D Center in Istanbul. Our extensive product portfolio adheres to international quality standards, and we take pride in exporting to more than 84 countries worldwide.
