Rebodis Inc. is a university spin-off company founded in June 2025 by PhD graduates, professor, and researchers from the Biorobotics Laboratory at Seoul National University. Guided by the vision of creating “robots that do not feel like robots,” Rebodis focuses on delivering new user experiences that enable people to overcome physical limitations through technology. Based on soft robotics technology, Rebodis develops clothing-like soft wearable robots that naturally assist human strength without restricting movement. By minimizing the weight and mechanical rigidity commonly associated with traditional exoskeletons, Rebodis’ solutions feature thin and flexible structures that seamlessly support everyday activities such as level-ground walking and stair ascent and descent. Rebodis is building a phased product lineup ranging from non-powered assistive solutions designed for daily wear to motorized wearable robots. Through this approach, the company aims to expand its applications beyond everyday mobility into outdoor activities, healthcare, industrial worker support, and rehabilitation.
