Aerolet was founded in 1968 and has been in existence for 55+ years. In the first years, Aerolet focused on producing orthopedic and surgical products and nursing and rehabilitation items for hospitals, nursing and healthcare institutions. In the mid-1990s, the development of the toilet lift started in collaboration with a Dutch university and the first Aerolet toilet lifters rolled off the production line in 1997.
