Before talking about our blades, here are the origins of this invention and the diagrams of Mr. Plançon's patent application in 1981, Jacques Plançon, a cutler, introduced the principle of the disposable cutting blade. He then applied for a patent, which was acquired by a well-known Swiss company. This patent is now in the public domain. In 1997, his son Michel was involved in setting up our production facility for gouge blades. Since then, we have been working with the same toolmakers and specialist machine manufacturers to constantly improve our processes and products in order to offer pedicurists gouging blades of the highest quality.
