AIRS Medical is a medical AI company founded in Seoul in 2018 by alumni of Seoul National University’s Colleges of Medicine and Engineering. The company operates globally, with business activities spanning Korea, the United States, and Europe. AIRS Medical develops the MRI acceleration and image reconstruction solution 'SwiftMR™' and the venipuncture solution 'AIIV', aiming to build a healthcare environment where high-quality diagnosis is accessible to all. SwiftMR™ improves the traditional trade-off between MRI scan time and image quality through deep learning–based image reconstruction. This enables the acquisition of high-quality images with shorter scan times, reducing patient burden while improving examination efficiency and diagnostic accuracy. As of August 2025, SwiftMR™ has been deployed at more than 1,000 sites worldwide and is widely used by hospitals and radiology groups, particularly in North America. AIIV is a venipuncture solution developed to address the uncertainty of blood collection procedures, where success rates often depend on the operator’s level of experience. By identifying blood vessel locations using ultrasound imaging and determining needle insertion points through AI and robotics, AIIV aims to standardize the venipuncture process. The product has completed conformity assessments under international IEC medical device standards, obtained GMP certification, and received approval for its clinical trial protocol, and is currently undergoing clinical trials at Seoul National University Hospital.
